I have a couple of internal hard drives that I use for backup. They do not stay inside any one computer so they end up sitting on my desk. I need some way to store them safely and be able to travel with them without the danger of damaging them. Anyone know of any carry cases or storage devices I can use???

A solution would be to install them in to external USB2/Firewire hard drive caddies.
These can be purchased for under £30uk $50?? and turn any 3.5inch or 2.5inch IDE drive into an external USB2 and or Firewire hard drive.
Example below:

I was looking for more of a carrying case or pouch of some sort not a usb enclosure. Is there such a thing?

Here's to freestone on his find!
A little digging around on that site shows the DC-CC-2 configured to hold 4 drives:

Do you at least use the removable drive shelves if you rotate the drives fairly often?
They are my transport method of choice with 3.5" IDE drives. No external power supplies or usb/firewire cords to deal with....or forget.

Creamcake: what is a removable drive shelf?

It's called an IDE mobile rack.
The whole thing is installed in an empty cd-rom bay in your pc case. With the power off to the PC, unlock the drive with your key, slide it out and swap it, store it, or carry it home.
The important thing is you don't have to open your case over and over. You may want additional inner trays though.
Sorry for the large images... broadband gets a man spoiled.

I bought one of those mobile IDE racks! Thanks Creamcake!
