Need some more documentation for HTTP and HTTPS

Hi ALL

We are using wtx8.4 and IIB 8 in Linux

Can you please let me know the difference in calling HTTP and HTTPs adapter using GET function.
HTTP is achieved but User was insisting us to use HTTPs for security reason.
