Hi,

I am getting a error signed stating " You can't add or change a record because a related record is required in table "Employee".

I created a relationship with the Employee Table between the SESP Enrollment and SESP Reenrollment. The Emp-Tbl has a field call EmpID, (primary key & an auto number). This field links to the SESP Enrollment-Tbl and SESP Reenrollment-Tbl by their field call EmpID which is a number. I clicked on all the referential integrity.

Can you please advise as to what I am doing wrong.

Thanks

Access is simply telling you that the EmpID you entered on the SESP Enrollment-Tbl or SESP Reenrollment-Tbl doesn't exist in the Employee table. Youv'e set up a referential integrity requirement that prevents adding foreign keys that don't exist as a primary key in the Employee table. Terry L. Broadbent
