Hi Guys
I've been asked to setup a group of new mail enabled users, however these users are not allowed to send or receive mail outside of our organisation. (It's purely internal mail)
I've had a quick look around the forum and internet and can't find anything that looks right, and in typical management fashion they want it done ASAP :/
Our Organisation isn't big or complicated, so here are a few details;
1 Domain
3 DC's (one is 2003 other 2 are 2000)
1 Exchange 2003 Enterprise Edition
We run our current SMTP connectors through 'Messagelabs' for email and spam filtering.
I'm not a 100% but I think if we were to setup another exchange server, and disable the outbound queue, and remove smtp connectors, that this would achieve what I want? However who would I send mail between the two servers? As we need to be able to communicate between the two sets of users.
I hoping that I can sort this out without having to buy a new server, however if the single server solution becomes too much of an overhead or administrative nightmare then I'll will to buy one, that goes for third party software too.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Many thanks
Jay
