We would like to be able to share categorized contact information between all members of our sales force. Can anybody recommend some software that would accomodate this? Is there any solutions out there that incorporate Microsoft Exchange Server? Are there any solutions that would allow this sort of thing without Exchange?

I am assuming that there would need to be some piece that resides on a server which would allow all of the palms to hit it to sync.

Thanks for any input!

Extended Systems has a really nice solution for this type application.

Go to:

Then click the link for: Mobile Enterprise Applications

They have fact sheet that does mention MS Exchange support (among others).

I hope this helps.

You could aslo try which is run by the same folks that make Time & Chaos PDA PIM software ( as an alternative to the Palm-based app.
Check it out.. Made specifically for enterprise, allows various levels of passwording, synching, backup, etc.
Time and Chaos is an extremely attractive alternative to Outlook.. smaller, less cluttered, and faster.

Hope this helps...
