Need some advice and code for getting form variable

I need to accept form variables which will contain XML. Should I read them to a text stream using the file object? Or any other ideas? I will need to parse/iterate through the data to write some values to a database.

Any suggestions for the easiest way to do this and some example code would be great.

Request.form("inputname") thats the usual way around it.
