I have lots of photos (enough to have a memory problem with my computer)

I want to categorize the photos, and save them in different folders. After, I am done with that, I want to be able to seach them. What is a good software for that?
I only know photoshop, Can Access do that? Will it save psd files?

Thanks for your help

A google search for photo album software will most likely give you some examples and their costs.

However a simple way is to create your own folders with Windows Explorer and assign names that are meanginful then populate the folders with photos.

Example create a main folder named Photos then subfolders like Vacations with more subfolders like Hawaii, Tahiti etc.

Finally each picture like Mother.jpg, Sunset.jpg etc.

Searching for all pics of mother.jpg can be done with windows built in search function.

Photoshop can be used to edit, crop, combine pics ect.
Photoshop also has a contact sheet function that can group all the pics in a folder together for printing.

Much Luck
