I have a cd-rom drive and I'm not sure about jumper settings for master/slave/csel. Are there any good sites to look this up by serial or model #, or are they pretty much standard. I'm installing a cd burner that recommends the burner connected to secondary channel as master and cd-rom as slave. I'm not sure what mine is currently set to. Thanks in advance.

Try to find the manufacturer's website. If you post the model/serial number, we can help you find it.

Usually, most drives are labled pretty well. They tend to at least have "M S Cs" next to the correct jumper pins. Mudskipper

Usually 3 pairs of jumpers and usually burners and CDroms follow the same jumper settings.
middle pair, (jumper between top and bottem pins) is Slave
Right pair " " is Master and
Left pair " " is Cable select
