Hey all - I'm looking for a SUPER simple PM tool - perhaps even a to-do list. I have about 35 jobs per week that are things like "design 15 banners for XYZ client. Will take 2.5 hours. Due 5-10-09.".
What I'm really looking for is a tool that can auto-schedule. I'd get a request for a small project, and I could enter it into the software/tool. Then, the software would find the next opening in my schedule and automatically stick it in. Since I'll have noted the due-date, it might warn me if there are no openings in my schedule before that proposed due date.
So basically I can just open the software and see what I have to do next. But I won't really have to manually schedule anything. I may have totally forgotten about a project - then I come in in the AM, and boom - there's my daily to do list. "Look at that! I forgot about XYZ project, but here it is, scheduled for 2 hours today. Perfect."
I don't need anything fancy like calendar sharing, or subsets/milestones of a single project. I just have bunches of single tasks.
Anyone know of anything like this?
