I am new to Netbackup and I am looking for a way to printout all the backup policies. I have looked at the X-Windows GUI and cannot find a way. The provided reports are not adequate. Also I need to find a way to get alerts sent to my email from the system. I have no issue with accessing the DB directly if needed and I have an example to work from. We will be upgrading to V6.x in the future, but we do not yet have a completed plan. Any help would be appreciated.

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bppllist $POLICYNAME -U

Wonderful...thank you. Is there a way to get a list of policy names so that I can loop through all the existing policies?

.
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bppllist -allpolicies -U
.
