I'm looking for a solution to connecting a network I'm setting up in my basement, it will be a wired network with my home network which is wireless. I'm running a BEFW11S4 along with my cable modem that I'd like all the PC's on both networks to be able to access the Internet through. The easiest solution is for me to buy wireless PCI cards for my basement network PC's but the cost is not worth it since I'm going to have 3-4 PC's down there. Not being a wirless expert, I'm thinking of buying a switch for the basement PC's and then connecting the switch to a wireless AP which would then connect to the BEFW11S4 providing the basement PC's Internet access, does that sound like a working solution??

Thanks,
Bill

Guess that would be one way, I'd be concerned with speed though, I'm also going to some file sharing with large files.

It runs 14mbs full duplex. Your wireless B connection does not come anywhere close to this throughput.
