Hello All! And thank you, all, for all past help here!

I currently have a client using Livelink 9.7.1, who does not have a Maintenance Agreement with OT and does not have access to any LAPI/LiveReport/db schema information. They are asking for a report (I'm currently reading that as a 'data dump') of all "Livelink roles, corresponding users, folders associated with the roles and their permissions'. I've already tried explaining to them that LL doesn't necessarily work the way they are thinking/hoping, but the request stands. Does anyone have any queries/scripts that I will be able to use to gather this indormation for them, whether in whole or in parts that I can piece together for them?

Thanks again!!
Patrick

Sorry not ethical to post schema info as it is protected by NDA. All the stuff you want is in the KB years of people putting queries together.
Even in this forum we sometimes post well known tables but this is not correct. If you search communities dot opentext dot com which is a self registering site it may have some but most of them would be links to KB which you cannot access.

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?

appnair - Thank you for the quick response (as always!), but unfortunately the company I am working with does not have a current Maintenance Agreement with OT, and therefore I'm restricted on my access. I have access to OpenText Connect but not to the KB at this time. Not sure what will happen first now - me digging through tables to find info I need and creating stored procs as needed, or company getting new Agreement in place. Regardless, thanks again for your prompt help!

The site that AppNair mentions in his post is available to anyone who registersm it does not require you to be an existing OT customer.

In terms of tables, you will need KUAF - for the users and groups - KUAFCHILDREN - for the group hierarchies - DTREE - for the specific objects - and DTREEACL - for the permissions. You will need some other tables and the Schema Companion guide ( to decode some of the values in the DB.

Thank you, Greg!

I do have existing access to the OpenText Connect site, and the related forums there, but I'm being told by OT that in order to have access to the KC I do need to be, or be working for, an existing OT customer.

I did dig through the DB yesterday and discover the KUAF table, and with your guidance have started to make sense of at least some of it with the KUAFCHILDREN table. I suspected (at best) the other two tables would be of use, of course, but without the schema it'd be guesswork for now. I'll keep pressure on on my side to hopefully get what I need, otherwise it's looking like a long weekend!

But, thanks you so MUCH for the info!!
