Thanks for all the help I have received so far, some have asked for more details on what I am trying to do. So here we go:

This is just a very basic thing, that most web pages use these days. I just want to hit a menu on my main index page and when a viewer rolls the mouse over the menu another sub menu comes up with additional links (or topics) for the viewer to go to.

Thanks, Robin

Or better yet, invest in Fireworks 4 -- it makes that type of thing a snap. :)

check two sites called as sabetv.com

i used just such a script to create ones there
problems - does not work in netscape 6

there is one available bratta.com
there are many menus available to use and one of the type you wanted which works in netscape 6

You can use layers and do it in dreamweaver. on a seperate layer, type in all the links of the sub menu. use show and hide layers behaviour and on mouse over behaviour. this means that when the mouse is rolled over a link...the sub menu (layer) will show.
i hope i am clear. try doing this and let me know.
