Need Password To View Excel File

Everytime I try to view an excel file on the web, I need a name and password.

All I did was upload the excel file, I didn't create a password or name.

Is there a default somewhere that does this?

Is your hyperlink pointing to a network share?

I am having the same exact problem right now and I can not figure out what happened. Does anyone have any ideas??

Have you checked the permissions on the server for the file? They could be prompting you for the FTP user name and password
