BCM50 was inherited in an office move. Former tennant does not have it. Called the installer, he does not have it. I am after the nnadmin password for element manager. I tried the default and it does not work, but BCM50 3.0 forces a password change on setup, so it was expected. The installer does have the telset password, so I was hoping for advice on changing the nnadmin account using telset admin? Or, do I just unbolt the bcm, grab the system ID and put a case in with Nortel to get the nnsupport login of the day and do a reset?
Thanks

On a BCM 50 you can do lavelel 2 reset to factory default. You follow the lights on the front and press thru the little hole next to the MOH in order of the flashing lights.
It is in the docs under reset.

Becareful when doing a level 2 reset as your release 3 image may revert back to an earlier release 1 or 2 etc. It depends on how it may have been upgraded.

Any day one release 3 system should be OK though!.

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

I put a ticket in with Nortel for the password of the day. It is good for 24 hour access only, but long enough to get in and reset the nnadmin password.

This system is programmed for the former tennant, so I had to change alot because the old tennant had PRI, new tennant has 4 pots lines, Display IP sets show the former tennant name, and all user VM and passwors were unknown.

Thanks again
