Hi
I'm currently administrating a win2k domain and an exchange 2000 server.
What I need to do is to create a couple of new users from another company.
These users already have their email on a another server.
I'm going to redirect their MX pointer to point at my server instead, so all their email at host @xxx.msft will reach my server instead.
I will then create the new useraccounts and also setup new mailboxes. I want these users to still have their old email adress but completly new mailboxes. Do I need to do anything more than to change the default recipient policy and add their @xxx.msft as SMTP and check the box "this exchange organisation is responsible for all maildelivery to this adress"?
I just want to make sure I don't forget any important steps.
Thanks // Ralph
