I have two Linksys wireless G SRX w/MIMO routers.

Router 1 is across the yard about 300ft at neighbors house connected to a motorola surfboad (cable modem). No computer is connected to these two devices. Only configured with laptop.

Router 2 is connected to my desktop. How can i configure these routers to get me the broadbrand connection from across the yard?

Any help would rock.
Thanks,

KMart-

snoopydog,

DHCP will have to diabled on the secondary router.

This router will become a bridge point. This assumes that Linksys supports this for your model.

See if the router supports settings as a Point-To-Point Bridge, Point-to-Multipoint Bridge or Repeater.

This is what you will have to setup. The connected router will have to be set to recognize the bridge type.

The second will have to be set to connect to the ssid.
