Need MSXML & VB.NET example

The built in XSLTransform class in .NET is a little too slow for my needs. I would like to use MSXML instead of the built-in .NET xml classes, but I am getting a little hung-up with the syntax. If someone could point me to an example or tutorial (need to know how to load XML and XSLT files and perform the transform)

MSXML is a set of classes for use in Visual Studio & .NET

I am not looking for an XML or XSLT primer, I am looking for examples of using MSXML COM objects in my program as an alternative to the .NET built in XML classes
