Happened to be working on an Avid editing system (Mac) tonight, on which no Flash plugin is installed, and your detection worked fine. After a few seconds, ended up on this page...

thanks for the check... whats a Avid editing system? do u know where i find good turtorials how to get strated with adobe premiere? simple stuff like import gif or png to put it as a layer in front of the movie. like making a frame with abottom border with some nice design and in the bagckgroaund plays the movie.
