Good day ladies and gents I'm in a predicament that some of you might be able to clear for me.
I have a client that is running 2 companies out of an old Norstar MICS.
They will be moving soon, they are loooking at a new system, they need to be able to use one single PRI, route the dids acordingly, each company has to have its own music on hold message play for their customers, seeing that the IP office Rls 7 will be able to support Nortel Phones and they would like to save some money.
my main question is can IP Office play multiple music on hold messages or do I need to look into a full blown PBX for that.
Right now they are using some type of line selector on copper trunks to achieve their needs.

The IP Office supports 4 music on hold sources that can be external or uploaded wav files (90 secs in length) :)

or do I need to look into a full blown PBX for that.

So you think the ipo is not a PBX??? :)
You can have 4 MOH's on a single ipoffice.

When you pay peanuts, you get monkeys!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

You can have 4 wav files up to 90 seconds in length or 4 external sources using 3 POTS ports plus the MoH port.

thank you all fo rthe quick response.
