I want to know how I could block all ports except the ones that allow me to use Internet Explorer. I put allow port 80 but it doesn't work.

Or can someone tell me how I could disable people from using AOL Instant Messanger. I don't mean by uninstalling it, I mean by blocking the server IP and ports of AIM.

Dark,

there is a way to check the prots that AOL uses..... however, if you have a fire wall up the way i have done it in the past is by blocking DNS to the site called login.oscar.aol.com.

that should do it....

How would I be able to block the DNS to the site? Would I be able to do it in the TCP/IP settings?

Please explain how you want to block access. In example: software or hardware.
"I put allow port 80 but it doesn't work'.

Please explain how you tried to block access. I can think of six ways to manage bandwidth usage, or the use of an ACL filters. But you need to give more details about your needs. Route once; switch many
