I am providing a client eng. services to open an 8 station answering service and I need further information regarding the "call-center" software available for nortel system and if a nortel system would be the most appropriate brand to provision. I worked for a communication company and quite familiar with nortel systems mostly being the MICS and CICS. The company will probably start out with copper DIDS and eventually go to a T1.

The software must be able to take messages and route messeges via email, paging terminals, voicemail and faxing. They would like to have the system tied into there computer network with individual stations which has full access to internet services.

I appreciate any help with the information regarding Nortel equipment in this matter. Do you know where I can obtain a demo of the call center software.

Thanks,

Jim Stoddard

Jim,
On the nortel site look at the following equipment:

NAM;
Call Pilot 150 for desk top messaging: and
CT 100 (CTI Gear)

Not sure if CP150 has fax abilities or whether you need to go to a NAM for all your features.
