Need info on News Servers for Newsgroups

Hidey Ho!

I heard there are several different news servers you can access when looking for newsgroups.

I use nntp.
I’m assuming that is one server.
Where can I find other servers? Can I access any of them for free?

Does anyone know of a good place to learn more about other severs?
