I am one of the IT guys for our local school board. Unfortunately, all our schools are located in extremely rural areas. We are looking to implement the Infosat systems into our schools. Can someone shed any light on these systems. What is the perfomance of this system? etc.

This is my first post to this forum. What a revelation! I'm hooked.

This board doesn't see a lot of traffic so I'm going to answer your post even though I don't have a lot of specific info for you. In general, read the fine print very carefully. Often times, you will find that you thought you bought a certain amount of bandwidth, only to find that there is cap on the amount of megabytes you are able to move accross the network in a given period of time. So forth and so on. Just be careful.

Regards,

Scott

Use a company called Lyman Brothers. They are excellent with internet access solutions to rural areas!!! I have used them for ineternet pops to Africa. They even provide Voice over IP, and they have excellent support.
