Need info on how to make trial version of an application

Want to create a trial version of an CF application.
Don't want it to be a date in registry or equal. Would like to use an .ocx lock or something like that.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Have a login to the application and set an expiry date for the user, if the user does not have direct access to the database.
