Need info on ffdc

Does anyone have any info on ffdc(first failure data capture)? After recently upgrading to AIX 5.2 we are seeing large files in /var/adm/ffdc/stacks/ that are causing problems with mksysb creation. We have files dating back to early 2002.

i don't have a direct answer, but while you are working on it, perhaps you would want to create a /etc/exclude.rootvg file and use the -e option for mksysb.
