Need info for hardware environment

Hello!
Our "old" Netware 4.11 Server is a litte bit to slow for the Centura 7.0.1 PTF4 sqlbase. So we want to buy a new Server with two CPUs. But the support from one sqlbase application knows about problems with two CPUs under Microsoft OS on a sqlbase server!?
But how about under Netware 4.11 or 5.1?
ANY EXPERIENCE?
ANY PRACTICE?
