Hi all i am new to tech tips so hello to all. I am an NEC telephone engineer needing help loging into an Northern option 11 the switch seems to be programed....how does the program start I have the LD's needed but not the smarts to get to a prompt.....rgomezkid2400@yahoo.com

hit enter (on the terminal/emulator connected to the maintenacne port)

password

and then start using the LDs

If it is an older Opt 11, use all CAPS.

was it rls 16 or so before you could use lower case?? that has been a long time, ran into one the other day that was still all caps (opt 21)..with the mdf built in, what a dog.. it is now an 11
