Need help

A excel file called 2738_1_dropdownchanges.xls file is uploaded onto a server. When that file is selected for view it is opened with the link
'

http://namcsisdps001.nam.nsroot.net:10014/csis_docs/2/200300278812/2738_1_dropdownchanges.xls'

and the file will be opened in the excel.
On most of the work stations it is working but on some machines it is failing by giving 2 message boxes-

1 message box-
Microsoft Excel cannot access the file

http://namcsisdps001.nam.nsroot.net/csis_docs/2/200300278812/2738_1_dropdownchanges.xls.

There are several possible reasons:
* The file name or path name does not exist.
* The file you are trying to open is being used by another program. Close the document in the other program, and try agin.
* The name of the workbook you are tring to save is the same as the name of another document that is read only. Try saving the workbook with a different name.

2 message box -
Internet cannot download 2738_1_dropdownchanges.xls from

http://namcsisdps001.nam.nsroot.net.

Internet explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

The machine where Iam getting the error is opening a different browser with correct link with the port no but after some time giving these 2 message boxes.

I observered in these 2 message boxes the port no 10014 is missing.

Can some body resolve this.
