need help writing windows nt/2000 monitor script

Hi windows gurus

I need to write a simple script in wsh/vbscript to monitor disk space, server status and network configuration for our windows 2000 and windows nt servers. Could anyone help me out? The scripts at technet only work on windows 2003 server!
