I am printing different templates out for a mailing and have had to switch from Access to a PSQL View. The template works fine as long as the view is populated, but if it is empty, then the macro stops. I am trying to find some code to put in the macro so that I can query the View to see if it's empty. If it is, then the code will go to the next template. Any thoughts on if this can be done? I am doing all of this through a Word document that has a command button to activate the macro. I am using Word 2002.

As you post in the Access VBA forum I suggest you have a look at the DLookUp or DCount functions.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thanks - I wasn't sure what to use in VBA and the search in tek-tips is down so I couldn't try and find an answer on my own. Having to google the searches is a bite.

I have created a switchboard but when the first button is clicked the database freezes. All the other buttons work. I remember someone telling me how to fix this and the reason it does it but for life of me I can't remember.

Can someone please assist. My database is finished and ready to go except for this little problem!

Thanks,
aaghd
