I need to copy some directories from one sun box to another via a crossover cable and I have never done this before.
From what I have been able to figure out, i need a TIP session. But I have a few questions about this.
#1 is this an RJ45 to RJ45 connection?
#2 I am aware that i need to have /etc/remote with the 'hardwire' entry (on both boxes? on one?), but once connected, what commands can be used to copy directories from one host to the other? can a regular cp work? rcp? or are there "TIP-specific" commands to do this?
Any help would be much appreciated!!
