I started building up the layers from the 0,0 axis. It fits perfectly. Everything goes smoothly. But when I converted layers to tables, the tables go out of place. It doesn't start from 0,0 axis, leaving an ugly gap between the background and table. I tried shifting the tables but it can't be moved. Anyone knows how to solve this problem? Thank u!

Unfortunately, to have any object- table or anything at the 0,0 axis- it must be postioned their with absolute postioning.

If yu just have a table at the top left hand corner, then it is relatively placed, and the 'gap' will also be different depending on the browser.

You can position table though. You may have some probs in NS if you have an acftive object such as a rollover or media file within the table cell though

Have you tried setting the page margins to &quot;0&quot;. This requires <body leftmargin=&quot;0&quot; topmargin=&quot;0&quot; marginheight=&quot;0&quot; marginwidth=&quot;0&quot;>. I'm not sure if this will fix things, but it should move a table to the 0,0 axis.

(BTW the first two attributes work for NN, the second 2 work for IE)

Good luck!
