Need help with scripts.

Recently discovered scripts.

I want write a script to add text and graphics and then export a PDF.

I'm getting overwhelmed by my own incompetence.

Please advise.

Hello!
I have a fantastic book called' PageMaker Scripting' written by Hans hansen and available from Adobe Press (see their website)It is published by Macmillan Computer Publishing USA.
This book covers everything about scripting, and is easy to follow if you are OK with technical stuff.
From a personal point of view, the main thing to understand is exactly what you want a script to achieve. Sometimes (especially with exporting to pdf) it is quicker to do it manually.
If you reply and tell me exactly what you want the script to do, I can probably help you out (I have written 50+ scripts and use them daily!)
