Need Help With request.parameter on url parameter

I am passing a paramter to a servlet through the url. The parameter has spaces (i.e. parameter=My%20Parameter%20has%20spaces is passed in the url)

When i do a request.parameter(parameter) it only returns the first word (i.e. My). How do i get the whole thing?

U encode the text with in single code then it will give entier string and later remove those codes . Kishore Kumar K

Thanks, i got it, now my problem is that one of my parameters may include and & in the name i.e. Brown & Sons Inc. so when i request it, the & causes problems..

U just put them with in codes

parameter="Brown & Inc. "
And send it ,this is the only way(something like this) as far as i think.
