Need Help With radeon 8500

I have an Sapphire radeon 8500le which I just bought and no matter which driver I install I get 640x480 and 4 bit color. I have completly removed my previous video (Vodoo 4) drivers and restarted with new video card. Win xp Pickus up the video card fine and says the driver's I'm installing are digitally signed but they dotn work I've tried drivers from ATI's site, Sapphire's site, and the boxed drivers and nonthing. I think there it may be incompatible with my hardware which is as follows. P3 500 (Katami Core), Shuttle AV61 Via apollo pro133 chipset, 256mb PC133, Sound blaster live value, Sony 8x burner, asus 52x cd rom, 13gig WD hard disk, 40gig maxtor hard disk. any suggestions or help would be appreicated

Start by checking for updated AGP drivers for your motherboard. Then, follow this article

to show all hidden devices - remove any references to old video cards.
