For those of you who haven't heard, there is a new developing environment released this past week called WEB MATRIX. It is integrated with .NET FrameWork and is based similiarly like InterDev 6. To the question: When trying to access "Online Component Gallery" (tools -> Add Online Toolbox Components) on the net from the online toolbox, it gives me the error 'The URL did not contain a valid WebService.' The URL that is being logged onto is the program's default URL, which should work. I even typed the URL manually into the IE browser and I got instant results. Why does Web Matrix not want to comply with this task? Also, if anyone knows of a great site for tutorials on this program, please let me know!

Yes, the tutorial is EXCELLENT!! Its one of the few tutorials I have read that covers just about everything that you will need to figure out the program. It never skips a step and includes explanations for nomenclature and what the reserve words do. Very useful.

anyone having problems connecting to the online control gallery? it's fine from my home, but at work no luck. i couldn't find anywhere in web matrix to specify proxy settings...do they just pull from internet explorer?

i can call the webservice fine through i.e., but when it trys to connect, it says "the url did not contain a valid webservice. please check your url and try again." mike griffith

Well mgriffith, if that is your REAL NAME... maybe if you didn't work for Lauren International, you could connect... however since we both work at Lauren we have a problem, don't we! :-D Still can't figure things out, eh? Neither can I. Here's the thing that I don't understand is that I can get out on every aspect to the internet except this part of the program... its definately a routing/firewall deal from my previous experience. -- Eckert
