create a movie clip..inside the clip you have the text tweening the way you want..last frame a stop action..make sure the movie clip that you create is the size of the area that you want to fill..make a button..in that button put the movieclip in the over state of the button..make sure you line it up so that when the text tweens it looks as if it were coming from the menu tab..thats it..pretty simple..it's just a movie clip that plays in the over state of a button..and now that i look at it again..looks like he has the movieclip layer underneath the menu layer..so it probably is tweening from underneath it a little..but it is made the same..
