after I ran the netscape executable install program, when I click on netscape it tells me to modify the enviroment and make sure that MOZILLA_HOME=/my installed directory, well netscape is installed in /opt/netscape

so how do i go about editing the enviroment so i can make MOZILLA point to that directory?

Thanks For the Help!

A simple add it in your .profile with vi is good..or from command line just to see if you get further?

export MOZILLA_HOME=/path/to/netscape
export PATH=$MOZILLA_HOME:/${PATH}

AND Dont forget or you might want to consider export LANG=C or
LANG=C netscape
and maybe

export DISPLAY=XX.XX.XX.XX(the IP address or address of Xstation you like
to export the DISPLAY to):0

#> export DISPLAY=124.21.219.4:0
