I have a BCM400 that has 2 GATM8 in the main cabinet in slots 3 & 4. The telephony resources are showing line 91-94, 99-102, 107-110 and 115-118. The first 8 are showing enabled in the resources window on bus 6.0 and 6.1. The other lines are showing NA and are in bus 6.2 and 6.3. If you click on them the disable button is available so it's like they are enabled.

The card in slot 3 has dip switch #4 set to off and the card in slot 4 has dip switches 2 and 4 off. Is this correct or is there some other reason they are not enabling properly.

Pull up the manual on the BCM. It has a chart that shows the dip switch setting for all the cards and the buses.

Looked at that already, according to the chart I think its correct, but it's not terribly clear...at least to me :)

DIP switches are correct.
Switch 4 off is Bus 6 offset 0.
Switch 2 and 4 off is Bus 6 offset 2.

Is the programmed type correct?

Have you tried to disable enable on 6.2 or 6.3?

Do you have any lines connected to 6.2 or 6.3?

Have you tried a cold reboot? Are you using bus 5 or 7? If not try to switch both cards to either bus 5 or 7 so you could see if its a card issue.

Thanks all. We are going to the site again today to check it out. The top two cards are DSM32 modules, we are going to pull those out and make sure they are set correctly too in case there is a conflict or something.

OK, I got i working. I took all the cards out and went by the book and everything is appearing correctly now.

DSM32#1 1&3 off
DSM32#2 1,3,6 off
GATM8#1 #4 off
GATM8#2 2 & 4 off
