My client prefers that all there reports be in a MS Excel format. I have converted all there reports to this format, but they now want to add MACROS to these reports. These are not working. Here is the process that I followed to create these reports.
1. I created a template in MS Excel and created a simple macro.
2. I saved the Excel spreadsheet as a web page (html).
3. I opened the html page in Oracle Reports.
4. I added the data source and made the other changes needed and saved the report as a JSP. (Please let me know if you need more info on this).
5. I ran the report using the Oracle Reports Server.
The reports runs fine and it comes up in MS Excel in the correct format. When I try to run the macro, however, the macro fails to execute.
Any advise will be appreciated,
Gaas
