need help with macbin encoded sitx archives

I am trying to extract an image from a group of .sitx archives encoded in MacBin format and this is foreign territory for me - I've got the files on a windows box, trying to extract the image and burn it for a mac. Is this possible or should I burn the files to a disc (in nero using their mac compatible format?) and try to expand them on the mac?

thanks, stuffit was what I needed. I knew that it was what I needed for the sitx files, I just didn't know it could also handle the MacBin decoding as well.
