need help with lost emails

About a week ago I noticed that some of my emails are gone. Not all of them, just ones dated from 01/07 to 04/21/07. These are ones that I had opened, read and saved to my folders on my computer in my hotmail. I have looked everywhere. Also, when I try to find any pst files, no such thing. Same with trying to run scanpst.exe I have talked with my isp but they had no clue,same with hotmail. Does anyone know if they are stored somewhere on my computer in a file??

I have msn as my isp which is through qwest because I have dsl. So I use hotmail as my mail account. I have windows xp,zone alarm and avg.

What mail client are you using? Outlook, OE, or the online web interface? Unless you've saved them individually as mail messages or html files, they are very likely to be gone.

when I login to msn my home page pops up, then to check my email I click the mail icon on msn's toolbar which opens up. I use my hotmail through them instead of using an actual XXXXX@msn.com one.

On the properties for them its saying:
MSN Client 9.50.0034.2000 and MSN Explorer.

I don't actually go to the internet and put

http://www.hotmail.com

in which is the web email.
