Need help with IPK II...... Ringing assignments

Programming my first IPK II. Having a hard time understanding the manual.... have made some basic programming changes, but I cannot figure out how to program the Voice Mail to answer all calls. Any help out there......

VM is ring group 102. Point the trunks to this ring group in 22-05.

Before I saw your message... this is what I tried

in:22-02-01 assigned all modes (1-8) on all trunks (1-8) to
DIL (4)
in:22-07-01 assigned all trunks and modes to ( 200 ) my pilot number i assigned in: 11-07-01....

now... the voice mail AA does answer the trunks now, but I seem to have another problem. When I dial 200 to set up a mailbox, the voicemail does not seem to recognize that I am trying to setup the mailbox, as if it does not hear the touchtones. If I access it by dialing from the outside, it seems to work fine... any thoughts ???? Also, i will try what you suggested and see if that helps. By the way, where in the manual did you see that 102 is the ring group for VM ???

Hey Pave35 .... I undid what I programmed in earlier and tried what you said.... I must be missing something.... The logic in reading this manual is kicking my tail.... can you list some of the previous programming you did to make yours work or after 22-05 programming... Thanks again !!! By the way, I should have mentioned I took this out of their old Elite 48 and it is a VMS 2... Is thie IPK II backward compatible ????

Make sure 22-02 is set for normal for your trunks and then 22-05 to ring group 102. Ring group 102 will go straight to the Department Group you have assigned in 45-01.
