Need help with installing esx4

I am trying to install esx4 on an ibm hs22 blade.
I get to the point where it start installing and hangs -overnight at 14% "partitionning virtual hard drives".
The drives are sata in raid1 config.

I tried the install many times with different media and always get the same thing -hangs at 14%

Any input is appreciated.

we found out that our chassis was having some internal issues due to firmware updates.
