I have created a text box inside of a shape and I want to be able to hyperlink not just the shape but the text also to another slide. Is there a one step process that will allow everything inside the shape and the shape itself to be hyper linked to another slide?

I am using Powerpoint 2007.

Select the shape. Under Insert tab, select Action. Choose Hyperlink to: and then select the slide you wish to hyperlink to.

I thought I had retired...I was mistaken. I used to work for a large corporation; now I work for my wife.

That allows the shape to be hyperlinked but if you mouse over the text inside the shape it's not hyperlinked.

You should be able to group the two together.

Also, shapes allow text to be added; so, why the need for a text box?
