I have set up CLID to be prodused of the DN kay of each set(2616) using LD15, my problem is that the CLID get produced ok, but is still not presented to the PSTN network becouse the type of number is set to unknown and the nature of address is out of range.

The CLID is presented to oter Meridian systems in my network, but not to any other systems.

The setup of my network is as follows:
Meridian ---> Nortel DMS(gsp 04)---> THE WORLD.

I'm using an ETSI PRI on the Meridian to connect to the DMS.
Connected to the DMS I have another Meridian and to that Meridian the CLID works, but not to any other subscribers.
Running a signaling trace on the DMS I can see that the CLID is produced but the type of number is set to unknown and the nature of address is out of range.

How do I change the TON and NOA?

Please help, I'm desperate:)

If your numbers are programmed correctly in LD 90 (area codes are NPAs, prefixes are NXX, 800 and service numbers are SPN), you can use DMI to change call type without adding or deleting numbers. You have to make sure your call types are all in seperate RLIs

Thanks for this, it seems that I might have problem there.
I tried to change the HNPA and failed the problem is that I'm located in Europe and trying to set the following:
HNTN 22
HLCL 5050
DIDN yes(3 digits)

I'm a beginer at the setup of the thing so I don't know anything about seting up Numbering Plans etc... on the Meridian. (ask me about DMS and I can tell you all about it, but not Meridian!!)

Is there an idiot(me) guide how to set it up, becouse I have all the Documentation and manuals but they are not wery helpful trying to do step by step setup.
Or is there someone out there that could kind of guide me if I give the this someone a printout of the setup?

I'm realy desperate, please help!;-)
Kind regards
KF

Not sure about Europe - in the US we would set
HNTN: 206 <-- are code
HLOC: 5551 <-- local prefix plus 1st digit of ext
DIDN: Yes

When dialed from ext 212 - pbx would send 206-555-1212

I know what you mean, I need to have a clid of 22-5050-883
if you dial from ext.883.

The problem is that LD90 dont let me to specify that becouse it needs 3 digits area code, and when I try to set HNTN to 225 it sais that its in conflict with an existing snp etc... any ideas??
