I have CR 9 and CE 9. All I need to do is to pull some data out of SQL server and display a simple web report. I need to pass a parameter of an account number to select the correct data. All of the documentation I've seen require the use of ASP or JSP. I don't want to use either of those.

How do I even start to do this? and why does Crystal Decision not have very good documentation on basic usage???

Please help, thanks in advance.

I don't have CE 9 yet, but I assume that if you want to use the equivalent of ePortfolio (I think that they have a light version in 9), you would just create your report with a parameter (Insert->Field Object), reference the parm in the reccorrd selection formula (database->Edit Selection Formula->Record) then load it into ePortfolio and point your users to it, it will prompt when they run it.
