Need help with ATI Radeon 9500 Pro

Hello, I just upgraded my video card to an ATI Radeon 9500 Pro and I got some problems. When I first inserted my card I installed the newest drivers version 3.8, no problems. I did not install any chipset drivers (VIA) because I have the newest. But when I went into dxdiag into the Display tab and Test Direct3D nothing would come up. I could not play any games using the directx but I could play games using opengl. So if anyone could tell me why this is so and help me solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Maybe goback to 3.7 drivers..

Ok thanks I will try that when I get a chance since I don't have high speed internet anymore.
