I have a G3si R12 with communication manager 2.2. Can anyone show me how to connect an Asterisk box to our Definity? I would like to use H323 trunks. Does anyone have a sample h323.conf and extensions conf. and a sample setup on the G3?

Thank you.

I have found this a while back. Not sure if it can help, but maybe give you a idea of what is needed.

In the future everything will work...

NXO1, I don't see a url in your post. can you email me? szoludko at yahoo dot com.

Thanx, That should keep me busy for a while.

I think the easiest way is to create an ISDN Tie via network connection or a physical connection... once the trunk are up it pretty much a go! if both systems are on the same network (wan or lan) then you have it mostly done...take your avaya side and create ISDN trunk and sig group ... on the * side you will need to either have a way to tie in.. I seen a cisco router with a PRI card tied to a pri t1 card on the *.. .. and that is just one method.....

BoBAz, Thanks for the info. My goal is to use the Asterisk without adding any cards to it(except NIC). Eventually i will try it with some analog ports and keep them around as replacement for older sites that go down.
